I make performance work, installations and texts.
My work is playful, low-key and interventionist.
I like using mundane and functional materials that anyone can lay their hands on, and the work often has a ‘too simplistic’ aesthetic.
It is work that would like to think it elevates the everyday, while remaining accessible.
The things I make frequently play with language, duration, mischief and confusion.
I am Jerwood New Playwright at The Royal Court Theatre where I am currently under commission.
I’m a Fellow of the Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre
and Associate Artist at Cambridge Junction
I am trans and non-binary.
My pronouns are they/them.
I will not work on projects
that have an all-white, all-cis team.
